The Broken Howl is an Americana/Indie band from South Florida, with a focus on lyrically driven songs and music.

6 PM Koffin Varnish
formed May 2012 as an Americana band. Marvin Ray Hawkins fronts the band and sings while playing incredible solos on the upright bass. Michele Woofter plays a Fender Rhodes, various synths, & a theramin. Once they added drum pro Shaun Bailey from New Jersey with his amazing playing style, it had changed the sound dramatically moving them in a more experimental and progressive nature. Their versatility allows them to book any genre. Their originality and professionalism has landed them gigs from opening up for National acts at Revolution & the Ft. Lauderdale International Film festival.

7 PM Tony Kapel and Maitejosune Urrechaga  of Pocket of Lollipops

Part band, part immersive sound project, Miami's Pocket Of Lollipops is an exceptional musical experience. Made up of Maitejosune Urrechaga and Tony Kapel, the duo explores a wide landscape of noise and noise-making techniques. This band delivers not only original and well-crafted music but a wonderful encounter with the bizarre that transcends artistic boundaries. -Jasmine Bourgeois, TomTom Magazine

Special “Collective Action” 2019 “Black Point” by Muu Blanco

BLACK POINT
Performance and Installation by
MUU BLANCO

"Blackpoint two different narratives polemicize: at first, beautiful sequences of

paintings –landscapes- recover the “heroic deed” of giving birth to a nation on an Eden-like
land, a land filled with riches and beauties, a land so generous that has been able to obliterate
any other form of civic constitution. The landscape, so, represents in Venezuela not only a
pictorial genre, but a symbolic formula from which the nation becomes potentiality, heritage
and welfare: the landscape is at the same time an identity statement and a model for existence.
This heroic sequence is accompanied by a musical fusion in which heterogeneity affirms its
own strength, and where the Latin substrate is at the time founding and fundamental."
