Today's Palm Beach Post Says "Boynton’s Art District glimmers with fall colors!"

The Boynton Beach Art District, located at 410 W. Industrial Ave., just west of Interstate 95, has 11 working artists who occupy 11 industrial warehouse studios.
A wide variety of artists make their home in the district, including kinetic artists, graffiti artists, tattoo artists, metal sculptors, muralists, stone carvers, painters, performance artists and musicians.
The art district’s vibrant leader, Rolando Barrero, a Miami native with Cuban roots, says when he first moved to Boynton Beach, the industrial space where the district now thrives was laden with crime.
But now the district is an alternative contemporary art scene brimming with life that sponsors open mic nights, monthly art walks, exhibitions and special events.
The murals pictured are part of an outdoor exhibition called the ActivistArtistA Bay Gates Project curated by Barrero in conjunction with the Palm Beach County Cultural Council’s #ShadesOfCulture
Campaign.
